About The Author

Harold Lehtinen grew up in Palo, Minnesota, a Finnish enlave in the North Woods.

His journeys in life have included teaching in Germany, graduate school, and working for labor unions.

​

He lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his wife Eileen. They have two daughters, both with Finnish names, and a dog named Aino.
